Where is your office located?
My services are online only, there is no physical office.
What times are you available?
I have times available in the day, evenings, and on the weekend.
How long are sessions?
Our sessions will last 50 minutes.
What is your cancellation policy
Please give a 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment. If you provide less than a 24-hour notice, you will be charged the full session fee.
What is the cost of sessions?
The cost is $160/session. If you're using insurance, cost will vary depending on your copay
How do you take payment?
I take payment through credit/debit.
I use a secure online portal that can take single card payments. You also can store your card number so that it does not have to be entered individually each time.
Do you take insurance?
Yes! Please provide your insurance info during the consult so we can verify that we take your insurance.
Who do you work best with?
I work best with men are motivated and ready to get uncomfortable and be honest and genuine. I want people to lean into fear in order to make lasting changes in their life.
Why work with men?
I've worked with men and boys since the beginning of my career, and love to help them succeed and overcome struggles. As a man myself I've also faced many of the challenges you've faced, and can relate to the unique struggles that we go through. I feel that men are under-served in the mental health space, and my goal is to help fill the gap so we can all live better lives.
What's it like to work with you?
Firstly, I believe counseling occurs in a safe container of trust and confidentiality. I strive to maintain a safe place and process in each session.
Counseling is about identifying places where you are experiencing troubles. Counseling with me is collaborative involving sharing and questioning.
We will have homework that we will complete during the week. Change can happen during the sessions, but if we aren't taking the knowledge and skills and practicing them outside the session, then we won't get very far. It will be challenging at times, but challenge is key to pushing past our current limits.
We will identify your strengths and opportunities for change. Then we will set goals that focused on you and your needs.
I usually have a game plan for each session, and we will always address the things that are affecting you that day in that moment. Above all, I want to celebrate your successes.
